The set of Plot Points in Our Sexual Development is inspired by the minimalist, single-material work of designer Katrin Brack. In this case, macramé strings symbolize the individual memories of the two protagonists, and they tangle together in a representation of the complexity of their relationships. Sometimes the strings form divisions in the space, while at other times they tie the characters together. Soft textures and curve motifs create a tender atmosphere which invites the audience to empathize with the vulnerability of the piece.
